As part of an effort to unify the AmpMod Wiki and AmpMod Forums as much as possible, we have started implementing some measures to make the forums follow much of the Wiki’s pattern.
Here are some of the changes that have been implemented so far:
- I’ve renamed the “Administrator” group to “Bureaucrat” and “Moderator” to “Administrator” on the forums
- I’ve made @unconstructable13 an admin (previously moderator) because they are on the Wiki
Here are some of the changes that we plan to implement:
- OAuth linking between the Wiki, the Forums, and Scratch
I plan to use AmpBot to implement a linking method which will use OAuth on the Wiki, posting a comment on Scratch, and posting in a specific topic in theAmpBot forum to validate account ownership. In the future this will be required to be considered for administrator, and it will be used to carry over privellages.
