We have recently switched from the basic username system to a display name system.
- New users will now be assigned a randomized number for their real username, and will have to choose a unique nickname. To log in, you will need to use your email, or the number in the URL of your profile.
- Old users will keep their old username and can login with it, and will not have a nickname. However, you can request one at https://ampmod.flarum.cloud/settings.
The nickname system allows for you to have spaces and other characters in your username. We are currently internationalizing the AmpMod forums so more users can use them, and we believe this will help in our expansion.
