Who are Newswriters?

Newswriters are users on the AmpMod forums who do not have administrative privileges, but do have the ability to write blog posts in all of the blog’s categories.

This topic is a place for anyone to apply for the newswriter title at any time.

Who can be a Newswriter?

To be a newswriter:

You must not have the New AmpModder badge. You will become an AmpModder after having made a few posts and a discussion.
You must not be a moderator or admin. If you are, you already have these permissions and an extra group is unnecessary.
You must have a good grasp at English, and you must not go clickbait style. No hablo un idioma que casi nadie en este sitio web conoce. Don’t Type Like This OR HAVE CLICKBAIT BLOG POST TITLES (SHOCKING!!!!)
You must use reliable sources, like commits on Codeberg or edits on the wiki that were made by admins. Don’t cite YouTube videos or say “trust me bro”.

Why do I want to be a newswriter?

I am a news writer for another project by Snoopythe3, and I also know how to use grammar for once.

Have I wrote professionally before? (e.g. editing Wikipedia, writing a book, etc.)

I am currently making a book, and also have a Wikipedia account.

Write a short blog post about AmpMod adding array blocks. Use reliable sources.

I have a Wikipedia account. I have writed 4-5 books home, when i was 6 with no grammar errors. I also know how to write blog posts, i have my own forum when i use blog.

Why do I want to be a newswriter?

The reason why I want to be a newswriter, is because to write important topics to inform things like Like small updates, server maintainence, recent bugs, ect. to the community. Plus, I’ve done some news states in some projects on Scratch.

Do I have a good understanding of the English language? (Note: the dialect doesn’t matter)

Yes, I have a good understanding in the English language, even though I’m from a diffrent country and learning English (British dialect at school), but I still have a good level of english.

Write a short blog post about a new feature in AmpMod. Find a feature added in the latest version of AmpMod by reading the wiki.

A scratch mod, that is also a TurboWarp mod by the name of Ampmod has released a new feature by the name of “arrays”. Arrays is a type of data that can store JSON arrays, as they’re more adavnced than Scratch’s lists, allowing AmpModers to unleash their creavitivity by alot. Please don’t refer to AmpMod as a “Scratch mod” as we have mostly broken away from that branding, even though we technically are still one.
The “Mod” in AmpMod is capitalised, it’s not “Ampmod”.
There are 2 “d”'s in “AmpModders”.
