NOTE: It is important that you learn how to use the Flarum REST API and a programming language like Python before creating and requesting a bot.
Request a bot to be approved here. (This is only for forum bots - see A:BR on the Wiki for Wiki bots.)
Rules
- Your bot must be open source on at least some source host, and licensed under an OSI or FSF approved software licence. We prefer the MIT licence for bots.
- You must be an AmpModder (i.e. not have the symbol) to submit a bot.
- The purpose of bots is to keep info up-to-date or automatically perform administrator tasks. Some tasks, like making users AmpModders, are performed by the software rather than bots. We do not accept bots that make posts.
- You must not use your bots for spamming, else your bot may be suspended.
Statuses
These are the statuses that your request may be in:
- Pending — for new requests not reviewed yet or requests that are on hold
- Approved — for requests that are approved
- Declined — for requests that are declined
- Test in the testing tag — for requests that are on hold until they are tested in a testing tag
- Not open-source — for requests that are on hold until the source code is available under an OSI or FSF-approved licence
Do not change the status of your request manually! An administrator will update the status and notify you of any changes.
