@amp i figured out how to get hello mario on switch!

Switch the region on your switch and account to Japan.
Go to eShop and an error will show and say that you need to login again. It will automatically do this.
Go to search and type Mario, but in the suggestions, click マリオ.
Click on the game with the NEW tag, titled こんにちはマリオ！
Click the only button to download.
After install, switch the account and switch region again back to its original setting. The game is also automatically set to english if applicable.

unconstructable13 UPDATE: Finally convinced my parents to pre-order the game, just a day before release
I just hope it runs on my dying Nintendo switch 1. I was originally going to save up for a Nintendo switch 2 but then I decided to save up for a new laptop instead because my 10-year-old laptop is literally starting to break down in front of my own eyes and it doesn’t seems like its going to last much longer
So I am going to have to wait until christmas
