These forums allow you to privately appeal a block on your AmpMod wiki account. Most rule violations, such as mild vandalism, are allowed to be appealed. Severe violations, such as uploading very inappropriate images, can not be appealed. Here are some guidelines regarding this:
- If your account block is temporary and is less than 1 month long, wait it out instead of appealing.
- If your account is globally locked or if your block was made by a Miraheze steward, mail
stewards@miraheze.org instead — we are not Miraheze staff and cannot perform steward actions
- Set the title of your discussion to just
Appeal. This is because blocked users are generally blocked silently, but discussion titles show in the tags page. This is a bug with the system we use.
- Be patient and respectful. You can submit questions as a part of your appeal. The word to tell us you read these guidelines is
ghosting.
- Include your wiki username and block ID in the appeal. This is seen on the block page.
- If you are suspended on the forums, you can’t appeal on the wiki. If you have violated the rules egregiously (e.g. uploading illegal content) your appeal will be immediately rejected, and we will request a global lock of your account.
- Do not send a follow-up message as these will be ignored. Only wiki admins and forum moderators can reply (even though forum moderators that are not wiki admins should not answer appeals.)
This tag is reserved for appeals. Spam posts in this tag will result in your account being suspended.
