The forums have moved to forums.ampmod.org! Posting on ampmod.flarum.cloud has been closed permanently, and we will shut down the site soon. An archive will be released eventually.

Removing the Test Forum

amp

Here are some arguments I have:

It basically encourages users with access to it to make unconstructive and pretty spammy posts instead of constructively participating in the forums
Since https://demo.flarum.site exists (you can literally gain admin permissions there) the tag is largely useless
A lot of free database storage could be freed by permanently deleting a batch of many test posts

If you have any opinions please let me know.

unconstructable13

Aw man. Could it at least be archived into a file or something?

amp

#2 unconstructable13 sorry, but no
however, you can export your account data (in "Settings") to preserve your posts

unconstructable13

#3 amp why not

#4 unconstructable13 most of the posts are unconstructive. after all it's a test forum not a dowhateveryouwant forum.
it was created months ago when we thought it was useful. it's not really useful anymore, especially not for people who are admins.

What if AmpBot deletes everything there daily? I created the test forum, and I still stand by it's usefulness. It's still good for some things. (I use it for testing markup extensions, as well as debugging permissions issues. There have been many times I've made 49st a mod and put it in the test forum to see what mods can do)

Also don't tell anyone I'm active, I'm not supposed to be.
