amp oh so now you’re telling me to disable secure boot? That advice would have helped me loads if you told me months ago when I was struggling to install Ubuntu without it freezing every time

I also keep getting permission denied error messages every time I try to save a file to any drive that isn’t the boot usb and I don’t know how to fix it) ~~
I actually managed to get the script working this time by adding sudo to the start of it but my laptop still boots straight into windows and the “grub/linux/ubuntu” entry in the boot priority list in the bios settings still doesn’t show up
I don’t know what is going on. Either I might be doing things wrong here or it’s not working because my laptop is super old or my laptop is built in a way that doesn’t support dual booting at all (which I hope isn’t the case but at this point is very likely)
