I was reading the recent changes when i saw a user called ShanaWortham673 that registered, likely with a real name. I hid their log entry because it seemed to be a real name, but then I checked the abuse log and apparently they tried to make a page about gambling.
I also checked their CentralAuth and it seems they specifically targeted the AmpMod wiki only. (They do have accounts on the login and meta wikis, but every Miraheze account gets those.) Why did they target a wiki about a modification of an educational block-based programming-language before any other bigger wikis on Miraheze?
Still though, this is complete and utter spam. You can see the abuse log entry here if you want to read the page contents. It’s filled with bypasses like ɑ instead of a. This is obviously not what we want on the wiki, so I’ve blocked the account permanently. From now on, please closely monitor the abuse logs and block anyone who’s doing anything as sus as this.
