WELCOME TO THE LIST OF REJECTED SUGGESTIONS!
This is a list of suggestions that were rejected by AmpMod’s developers. Don’t hesitate to remind me of any rejected suggestions! Even if they are infrequently suggested or obviously rejected, it’s still nice to know what is and is not rejected. I will check this topic as much as I can.
The Rejected Suggestions
1. Real-time Collaboration
Real-time collaboration is rejected because:
- It would be time-consuming to implement. We, as a group of volunteers, do not have the resources to implement a live editing system into AmpMod.
- It would enable private messaging. Our goal is to keep users as safe as possible, and private messaging is not allowed here.
2. Private Messaging
As pointed out above, private messaging is unsafe and therefore is not allowed.
3. Rendering 3D arrays in a special format
This would be very difficult to implement. It would require either CSS 3D transforms (which can be fragile), or using a 3D renderer like three.js, which would clutter the source code for monitors.
Note that 3D lists may still be rendered as a 2D table, similar to how 2D lists work.
The Accepted Suggestions
1. An uploading website
We are working on a website to upload AmpMod projects.
2. Constant blocks (Pi, Euler, true/false, infinity)
These will be added in AmpMod 0.5.
