If anyone here has a website, I’d encourage you to link ampmod.codeberg.page on it to help boost SEO. Bing and therefore DuckDuckGo still only show the ancient mirror.
Google does have ampmod.codeberg.page, but the ancient mirror is still 2nd on the list and has not been updated since late March, leaving it on 0.2.0 and missing the new 0.3 features, which means a worse version of AmpMod is somehow climbing the SEO mountain better than the canonical a.c.p.
This means that mirror is essentially a snapshot of ancient AmpMod history. If the mirror had used a cron, this wouldn’t be much of a problem as AmpMod now has a canonical URL defined to boost SEO for us if someone makes a mirror in the future.
My guess is probably that Codeberg seems to be cracking down on crawlers, but they seem to have recently loosened those crawler rules so search engines (big_tech) can crawl Codeberg. I’m not exactly sure what is happening though.
