Making a new video and I need help

I am trying to record a new video on my computer about Fidget which is a coding app I made but the video recorder that I have is super buggy. It won’t record my voice and it refuses to update. Does anyone here have any good free video recording software that I can use because I need the video out by ~~tomorrow~~ feb 3rd

to anyone new here please DO NOT suggest I use OBS. It does not work on my laptop and I don’t know why.

also, i would reccomend obs for both videos and streaming

Also my laptop doesn’t support obs due to some outdated Nvidia driver or whatever

unconstructable13 first off always update drivers and second off NOBODY USES GAME BAR

Anonymised_user_6 I can’t update my drivers though because the laptop i’m using is so old that the latest nvidia driver version it can run is a version from 2018. I tried updating the driver but it already said I had the latest version installed

but still get obs its more stable and works for better recording and live streaming if you ever wanna start that

technology hating me as usual
I simply don’t know why but OBS just doesn’t work and I don’t think my laptop uses nvenc or amd encoders (I tried checking)
I guess it has something to do with an encoder issue which I can’t fix even with a clean re-install because my laptop is so old
OBS is out of the question. I need another screen recorder I can use

Anonymised_user_6 I’ve changed my mind about including my voice in the video, I might use fraps but I will still use the game bar for now to record my vid, though I’m a bit nervous because I’ve been recently encountering issues with the minecraft launcher where every time I try to launch it freezes along with my task manager (somehow) after a minute or so and I assume it is because of the xbox gaming services software bugging out
