AmpMod Server Transfer Delay

Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen RAM crisis and a general lack of development, the server transfer and project hosting have been postponed to 2028 at the latest.

If you don’t know what the server transfer is, it is an ongoing effort to move the Wiki and Forums onto a server we host ourselves, which also allows us to venture into project hosting and other services for the AmpMod community.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will keep you updated as we work on the transfer.

Updates:
I now have access to another dusty old computer that will soon be used for temporarily hosting the site by mid-2026. I am soon going to install Debian Trixie on it so that we can actually do something with it.

We aren’t going to use Cloudflare or something like that yet, so it’ll be a bit slow and vulnerable to villainous nuclear sabatoge of network resources. But hopefully the site will be ready by early 2027.

When I’m ready, we’ll allow a couple of mods to access the server via SSH.
