Scratch has recently made some very bad and controversial changes today (Jan 22nd in the US/Jan 23rd in other areas) where you must have parental consent.
This sadly backfired as many users are now deactivated.
This also introduces a new AI training “feature” that eats up your data.
Here is what we really recommend:

DO NOT support the Scratch Foundation at this time
Contact ST to opt-out of AI data training. They legally must opt you out if you make a request with the correct legal statements.
(Optional) Submit a GDPR request to Scratch. This removes your data and deletes your account, forever. Scratch legally has to comply.

As such with this update, we have removed the following off of the AmpMod website:

The Scratch Foundation donation link
Anything else about the SF.

We really hate that this update has occurred.
We thank YOU for your AI-free patronage to AmpMod.
And remember: you don’t need parental consent for AmpMod.

That sucks. I was even planning on returning to scratch after a few week long break today but I guess that hiatus will continue.
Let’s hope scratch updates the terms of service again to make it a bit less controversial and stops with this AI training slop

Hey, the reason why I was inactive from Scratch for 2 weeks straight, is because I got permabanned for some project, not explaining what it had, I also sent 2 appeals on the first day and contacted the ST about the ban on help centre, I’m a bit sad now . Anyways, have you got any idea, is my data harvested by the Scratch Foundation to contact GDPR since I lost my acces to my Scratch? GDPR is my local version of COPPA and GDPR says, that they can delete all harvested data forever,
