I've provided some feedback on the application topic that you can check out before you start writing.
Feel free to post on the blog introducing yourself on the forums. The introduction should only include your username, why people should use AmpMod, what a newswriter is, and a link to the application discussion. It should be 3-6 paragraphs long.
We plan to do that exact thing for future Newswriters so the community can get to know them.
