If you are a Newswriter, that means we are trusting you with near-complete control over the entire AmpMod blog and events calendar. By being a Newswriter, you agree to:
- Be nice to everyone, including other Newswriters and people who aren’t one.
Being a newswriter is not a status symbol.
- Not post personal information. This tag, despite being restricted to Newswriters, is still considered as a public one when doing moderation. Besides making sure your English isn’t broken in the slightest, we are extremely lenient with approving applications to become Newswriters.
A bad actor could theoretically request Newswriter permissions, access this tag, and then get your info.
- Give feedback on other newswriters’ progress.
Reach out if you need help. Other Newswriters have experience with writing and are here to help!
- Use tools responsibly. You have been handed the ability to edit and lock other discussions in this tag to help Newswriters collaborate with each other. Please do not use these tools to vandalise the tags.
Breaking this Code of Conduct will lead to strikes using our existing moderator warning system. If you receive too many strikes, you might lose Newswriter permissions, so be careful!
