Just a few hours ago today, the forums went down due to a lack of storage on our hosting provider. The forums are now back up, so we can post this. Here are the some of the updates we’d like to share
- I’ve figured out how to access the AmpMod Forums logs, which will help get problems like this resolved faster. From now on we expect issues to be resolved within less than a day, and 3 days at maximum.
- We might move the forums to a paid host or to the same server that the main AmpMod website will be on. This forum is hosted on FreeFlarum, which is meant for small forums and has seen more technical issues recently as well.
- We will take routine backups and store them somewhere else in case something goes catastrophically wrong. This helps us prevent your posts and other content from being lost to time.
