amp unconstructable13 that means either your pc is using BIOS or i got bamboozled by arch linux. try sudo ls /sys/firmware/efi instead. if that fails, you are on legacyBIOS.
unconstructable13 Anonymised_user_6 I still have windows amp Typed the command and it didn’t show an error but what next?
unconstructable13 amp did that and just got a massive list of all the partitions on this computer what’s next? Which partition should I choose
amp unconstructable13 can you give a list? (only the EFI partition and any ext4 partitions matter here)
amp unconstructable13 Select /dev/sdb6 and delete it; I’m assuming that’s where you installed Ubuntu even though it’s not on your largest disk (but it’s likely your main one since you have an ESP, Recovery, and “Acer” partition on it)
unconstructable13 amp I’ve done that a few times and I’m a bit nervous because I feel like doing that repeatedly will damage my hard drive which will decrease the chance of Ubuntu on my computer, but I’ll do it anyway
unconstructable13 amp what next? Interestingly when I get to the section of the installation where the thing asks where to install ubuntu it recognizes that I have the windows boot manager and Ubuntu installed on my computer
